The famous White Beach has been described as the “finest beach in the world”, and not without good reason.

This stretch of white powdery sand stretches for 2.5 miles, and is just one of the many beautiful beaches Boracay has to offer.

It wasn’t until the 1970s that tourism began to develop in Boracay – the island initially became popular with backpackers. Getting There

Boracay is reached from either Manila or Cebu, flying firstly to either Caticlan or Kalibo airports on Panay Island, then transferring by motor transport to the pier at Caticlan.

From the pier, Boracay seems tantalisingly close – there is just a narrow strait of water between the island and Panay. Numerous small boats await to take visitors, residents, and supplies across.

We’ll ensure that your transfer from the airport to Boracay Island goes smoothly…. and on land

For those that prefer to stay on land, there are activities available too, including horse-riding, trekking, quad-biking, and one of the best golf courses in all of Asia.

The Fairways Bluewater Golf Resort has luxury accommodation on site for those that wish to stay close to the course.

This is a championship par 72 Golf Course offering water features with gurgling creeks and rushing waterfalls created by “Living Waters” of the USA. Surely one of the finest golf courses in the Philippines today.

Eating Out & Nightlife

There are more than 200 restaurants and eateries on Boracay offering food from around the world and suiting every budget. Scores of bars and restaurants, with live music, open out onto the beach.

Some restaurants offer “all you can eat” style buffets, with a large selection of fish and meat dishes from which to choose. For local colour, small market-based ihaw-ihaw (barbecue) restaurants are well worth a visit.
